This project is an archive-based installation. These photographs document its first installation in Hopkins Hall at the Ohio State University, September 2021.
Asenath Dukat was only eight years old when she was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered on June 3, 1980 in Upper Arlington, Ohio. She was making the ten minute walk home from her elementary school. To this day, her case remains unsolved and has had little to no coverage over the past 40+ years. I am here to join the cause to tell her story.

Thank you to Crime Junkie for introducing me to this case, to the Columbus Dispatch for article clippings used, and finally, thank you to The Long Walk Home for keeping Asenath’s case alive and providing resources used for this project.
